Dr. Shenkman completed his neurology residency at New York Medical College’s St. Vincent’s Medical Center. He further specialized in epilepsy and neuro-critical care management through advanced training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center’s Neurological Institute in Manhattan.
Beginning his career in Atlanta, he later relocated to the Golden Isles of Southeast Georgia, where he successfully established and ran a neurological practice for 20 years.
In addition to his medical career, Dr. Shenkman pursued legal education while maintaining a full-time practice. He earned a Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2014, followed by a postdoctoral Master of Healthcare Law (LLM) from Loyola School of Law, Chicago, in 2016.
